Habersham County Court Cases

Habersham County, Georgia was established in 1818, the county name originated from Cherokee Cessions of 1817 and 1819. The county was named after Colonel Joseph Habersham (1751 – 1815), a hero of the Revolutionary War; U.S. Postmaster General in the Cabinet of George Washington. Habersham County has a total area of 278 square miles, with a total population of 43520 residents (and a population density of 156.55 residents per square mile).
